Viva Mexico Stage: presenting local Mexican musicians, folk dance by Mexbourne dance group, live mariachi band ” Los Romanticos” ,  live salsa band “Orchestra La 45″, “The Mexican Music Man & “Sin Frontera Band” ,  Mexican Rock Band ” Los Mas Altos” , “San Lázaro”, Zumba with Latinas and the traditional ceremony of “El Grito” to celebrate Mexican Independence.

Mexican Market: A space for authentic Mexican handcrafts, jewellery, Mexican textiles, ceramics, Mexican food products and services.

Mexican Cantina/Bar: where you will taste the traditional Mexican drinks such as Margaritas and palomas made with tequila, opportunity to taste our traditional beers like Corona, Pacifico and Negra Modelo.

Do you like wine? A great opportunity to taste Mexican wine from Santo Tomas winery from Baja California, Mex. Come along and enjoy live Mexican DJ’s.

Kid’s corner: where children will enjoy activities such as playing music with “The Mexican Music Man, singing in Spanish,  how to create handicrafts, colouring activities while learning Spanish, face painting and more.

Social Awareness: Mexican Festival supports MISION MEXICO. MISION MEXICO was founded by Australian couple Alan and Pamela Skuse in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. Albergue Mision Mexico provides a loving and stable home for children all ages who have been abused, neglected, orphaned or abandoned.
